Ian Clarke
Ian holds a Master Mariner Foreign-Going Certificate, MSc (Mathematics), BSc (Nautical Studies) and Diploma in Economics.

His career has included 12 years of sea service in general cargo ships, two years as a Marine Systems Engineer, five years lecturing in Nautical Studies at Hong Kong Polytechnic, two years as an instructor at the Nautical School in Auckland and nine years as a Ships' Surveyor with the Maritime Transport Division of the Ministry of Transport. He has been a Marine Safety Inspector with Maritime New Zealand since 1993.



 


Hei Cheung

Hei attained his Marine Engineer Certificate (First Class) through Hong Kong Polytechnic, including doing his practical training as an Engineer Cadet for World Wide Shipping Co. He returned to Hong Kong Polytechnic as a Lecturer in 1979, before moving to New Zealand in 1980 and taking a position as an Engineer for the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Co. in Hamilton. In 1984 Hei moved to the Marine Division of the Ministry of Transport taking a position as an Engineer/Ship Surveyor.

Hei has been a Maritime Safety Inspector with Maritime NZ since 1993.
