Explosives
The transfer of explosives from the Explosives Act and Regulations to the HSNO regime is planned for August 2003. Existing licenses from OSH will be extended to cover the period from 1 July to August 2003. The new date for transfer will apply to all explosives (including safety (small arms) ammunition and retail fireworks) and will initiate some changes to the controls imposed on explosives.
