Safe Operational Plans for Fishing

 
 
Registered fishing vessels of 6 metres or less in length that operate in enclosed waters or not more than 2 miles from the New Zealand coast (Maritime Rule Part 40D) are required to have a Safe Operating Plan (SOP).

To get a SOP, contact an Authorised Person (see list below) who will work with you to inspect, audit and approve your operation.
