Crew endurance management (United States)
The United States Coast Guard has been working on fatigue for some years. Their electronic newsletters are a good source of information and you can subscribe to them.

National Sleep Foundation (United States)    
An excellent source of information on sleep issues generally.

Seafarer’s Health (United Kingdom)    
Use the Healthy Food link for advice about food on merchant ships in particular.

Cardiff University research report on seafarer fatigue (SOLAS vessels, 87 pages)
